Peace rally on 11 March 2022
Announcement
Call: Peace rally of the Waldorf institutions on 11 March 2022
Dear Waldorf Community,
how do we want to live? This question is being asked anew in an unimagined dimension these days! Peace is one of our basic assumptions and we are all more shaken than ever by the warlike events in Ukraine, from which we feel insecure, threatened and overwhelmed.
What do we want to do? How can we help? Our strength is and has been the community!
Therefore, we would like to invite you to participate in our peace network as part of the peaceful, future-oriented, free Waldorf community.
WHERE: The peace network is to spread over the whole of Germany on 11.03.2022 at 11.30 a.m. The Waldorf institutions of a city or region arrange to form a colourful, child-friendly and common “hub”. It is best for each school to appoint a coordinator who registers the network path as a demonstration on site. The planned route/meeting point and a program or a list of speakers will be published centrally under https://www.friedensnetz-waldorf.de .
WHO: All anthroposophically active / Waldorf institutions at their respective locations
WHAT: meet for a peace rally with music, with words, with candles, – just as it suits you.
WHY: to show the world our face as a Waldorf community and to stand together for peace in this world
WHY: Because we are many! Because we live community! Because we need peace and because every courageous act and every peaceful thought helps – build a network of peace with us!
We are Tia ten Venne and Mischka Kaiser, and many of you know us from the organization of the Waldorf Festival 2019 in Hamborn Castle. We would now like to use our experiences and the connections that arose from the impulse at that time to network with each other and to establish a Waldorf network for peace in Ukraine and the whole world with you!
Organize yourself at your location on 11.03. at 11.30 a.m. for a peace action and register it with us with all information by e-mail.
